Skid and Portable Equipment Systems

NEPSI fabricates and installs skid-mounted and portable equipment systems that package pumps, tanks, valves, instrumentation, and controls onto compact frames for fast installation and easier maintenance in FDA-regulated and industrial facilities.

What Are Skid and Portable Equipment Systems?

Skid and portable equipment systems are pre-assembled, self-contained process units mounted on a stainless steel frame, often referred to as “skids.” These systems integrate key components such as pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, and control systems into a single, compact unit. They are typically built and tested off-site, ensuring quality and functionality before delivery. Once on location, they can be quickly installed by setting them in place and connecting them to existing plant utilities and process piping, reducing installation time and disruption.
